Arthavida Intermediary Ltd

Arthavida Intermediary Limited (AIL) was incorporated in 2013, as a limited liability company affiliated to Arthavida Foundation Guarantee Limited (AvF) & Arthacharya Foundation (AF). Both organizations, the AvF and AF sponsored the formation of the new company by purchasing its shares. AIL took over the microfinance functions conducted by Arthavida Foundation Guarantee Limited and the new company commenced its operations on 01 April 2014.

AIL is providing micro credit facilities to the poorest of the poor through a branch network grounded on community based organizations [CBOs] set up in several selected districts. The programme is operated through 16 branches.
